This week I have been to the US for a large career opportunity. On the way over the plane route took us over Iceland and into Greenland before coming through the vast expanse of Canada onto my final destination in San Francisco.
I was truly shocked at the state of the ice sheet over Greenland - every bit of it was cracked and melting. I have traversed this route several times but never seen it so bad. The Earth is telling us something. I felt guilty about having to travel but I have no choice if I want to be fully employed whilst this recession bites.
